"Another Lover" is a shimmering, dance anthem for the summer. Soaked with dreamy synth lines, playful pop vocals and bad bitch energy. Wolf sings out ‘I don’t want to love you, I just want another lover’ with a wink and a cheeky grin. This track is about harnessing your destructive thoughts, trading emotional turmoil for electric sunsets and sandy fairy tales.
This carefree, summer release is set to be followed by an official music video at the end of August. Filmed by Grey Coast Films in collaboration with the fire dancing team LuxFire Productions. The video is, needless to say, very hot.
“This song is about being free. Smelling that ocean air, feeling the sand between your toes and looking out at the golden pink sunset letting the ocean wash all your worries away.” states Elle. It is playful and fun, ‘I don’t mean to be upfront, but I just want to taste you’, it is saucy and seductive, flaming in the heat of those summer nights.
‘Another Lover’ was recorded in Vancouver with Producer Cody Taylor at Fiend Recording Studios and Mastered by CPS Mastering. It has 90s inspired synth lines, smooth vocals and summer vibe lyrics that transport the listener directly to a sandy beach party.
“Sometimes it’s easier to make up something completely new and different in your mind, something that can take you away from the darkness staring directly at you” Elle Says. “I needed to break up my thoughts, there were too many destructive ideas during a time when I wasn’t able to physically see friends for support. I needed an escape, and I found it. I found it skinny dipping in the scenic sunsets on the West Coast.”
